En vanavond doen we de stapschoenen aan voor de dodentocht 100km te Bornem. Volg hier waar onze bende zit, via de online tracking van de organisatie.

Interests

• Walking 100km, the dodentocht. I walked it sveral times (till the finish !), last one in 2004 with 6 hours of rain. This year 10-11 aug 2007, I have startnumber 6477 for online tracking. Before you can practise omloop kluisbergen.
• Mustagh Ata climb and Gondogora-La trekking, Pakistan and China 2006
• Twingo, my lovely car
• Running: I have a yearly appointment for the 20km door Brussel. The next edition is Sunday, May 30 2004, 15h.
  [update] After some 'runners' traffic I had a smooth run in 1:26:11, with rank 1106 (my start number was 2494). Watch me next year !
• In between you can find me running at dcla running club.
• Mountains: After a climbing course in 2000 and an Alpine initiation in 2001, (both with the BAC) you can find me more on rocks and in the mountains. Some pictures of Les Ecrins.
  And remember, 2002 is the year of the mountains !
• Just returned from benji jump in Grenoble, France (info)
• Bolivia: July 18 - Aug 10 I'll travel to Bolivia. We try to climb two mountains: Condoriri (5700m) and Sajama (6540m), the highest one in Bolivia.
• I'm a enthousiast Linux user. I visit and help in the organisation of some events: Hip 97, nl, Osdem, Brussels - Belgium, Hal2001, Twente - The Netherlands with the Iguana Colony, Fosdem, Brussels - Belgium, What The Hack.
• In weekends you can find me in a pub (cafe 33, oude markt - Leuven) or on a party (Studio Brussel 'Was het nu 70, 80 of 90? fuif' is one of my favourites)

In Belgium, where I live, 'appelflap' is a bakery piece filled with apple. There is no link between this site and the bakery stuff, except the name and the fact that I like to eat them. a Recipe (in Dutch).
